Riverbend Kids is a multi-generational team that loves God, loves people, and wants to make disciples. In Riverbend Kids, we work as classroom teams to create a safe and fun environment where children can come to learn about God and grow spiritually. Because we understand that relationships are important, team members serve the kids at least twice a month, pray for their families, and design activities and routines to meet the unique needs of each class. Because we know that parents are the primary disciplers of their children, we communicate what is being learned, send home resources to help parents connect home and church, and plan events that allow families to be on mission together.
We use D6 Curriculum.
Riverbend Kids Resources:
K-5th Grade students are given daily devotionals each quarter. Preschool students are given weekly Story Cards and quarterly Cuddle Time Books. We also make Home Connections available weekly.
Parents are encouraged to subscribe to the weekly Splink Newsletter that gives parents "Spiritual Links" for starting deep conversations with their kids.
All resources are aligned to the curriculum and are intended to support parents in their disciple making efforts. Riverbend Kids knows that discipleship must become part of a family's day-to-day life, and we want to partner with you for this journey.
Riverbend DaySchool is a weekday children's program for ages 2-4. Through small classes with small teacher-student ratios, we desire to help each child begin academic learning and Christian character-building. We also want each child to know how special they are in God's sight and to gain an understanding of their self-worth. Click here for more details regarding the DaySchool.
ARISE Student Ministries exists to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to whomever needs to hear and equip them to go seek and save the lost so that they can shine the light of Christ to Whomever, Whenever, Wherever they go. We seek to honor and equip families as God’s design for discipleship and honor the church as God’s means for giving His Good News to all the world. We believe that any place honoring God’s heart for those far from Him, His Church, His Word, and His People will ultimately be honoring to Him and that is our greatest desire - to honor Him in all that we do.
Men’s Ministry Vision Statement: “We as men value the Riverbend Church community and will seek to bridge men to the Grace of Christ, the fellowship of His Church and our home group ministry, so that we fulfill God’s call to walk with Christ, love our families by leading them, love the church by serving them, and intentionally reach other lost men.” Check out the men's Monday morning Bible study that meets at The Shed at 6:30AM.
Women's Ministry offers opportunities for women to gather for Bible study, prayer, fellowship and encouragement.
In Matthew 28:18-20, the Great Commission tells us to go and make disciples. In Acts 1:8, we are told that we will be witnesses for Christ in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth. When you put these two passages together, you have our heart about missions. We want to minister to people locally, regionally, and globally.
