Riverbend Loving Our Neighbors
Showing God's Love in Practical Ways.
Jesus gave us a clear command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." The Loving Our Neighbors ministry is how we live that out at Riverbend. We are dedicated to being a blessing to our local community by identifying and meeting practical needs. We want to be known as a church that genuinely loves and serves the people of Lexington and the surrounding area.
Our Initiatives:
Community Events and Speakers: We regularly host free events featuring engaging speakers who cover a wide range of helpful topics designed to equip our neighbors with practical wisdom for everyday life.
Movie Nights: Several times a year, we host free movie nights on a big screen. It's a perfect, family-friendly evening out with complimentary popcorn and a great way to meet other people from the community.
Yard Sales: We turn our church grounds into a bustling marketplace and invite the community to shop at our yard sale. You can come hunt for treasures. It's a fantastic way to recycle, reuse, connect with neighbors, and raise funds for missions and other ministries.
